Being forced to sit still and confined to a hospital room I have been able to read a lot of really good blogs and have started following some new ones that really rock!
My 2 new favorites are- It's ALL Good in Mommyhood, and Mom-A-Logues,
1. Can you drive a stick shift?
2. What are two foods you just can't eat?
3. Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies? What is your favorite kind?
4. How do you pamper yourself?
5. What is your nickname and how did you get it?
1. No I can not drive a stick. I have tried several times and it is a mess. I am what you call coordination challenged. I literally can not walk and take a drink... seriously, I have to come to a complete stop, take a drink, and then start walking again.
The closest thing to driving a stick for me happened several years ago when Jeff and I were at the Talladega Nascar Race. Jeff tore his rotator cuff in his shoulder (the same shoulder that is attached to the hand that does all of the shifting) We were in his big diesel truck and I had to take over the shifting part from the passenger seat for the drive back to Indiana. It was some pretty ugly shifting on my part!
2. Hmm, it use to be brussel sprouts, but I made myself try them not too long ago and they were pretty good. Sardines! No way would I eat one. Jeff doesn't get that because I love sushi. They just look nasty. I also will not eat lamb. I have tried it a few times only because of my love for Ireland and all things Irish - Just don't like the taste!
3. Yes, If a friend of mine is selling I will usually always buy 2 boxes. I will always get a box of thin mints for Jeff, and then I like the peanut butter ones.
4. Pamper myself? I could really use some pampering right now !!! My favorite way to pamper myself is to take a day and leave the girls with Jeff and go shopping and then get a manicure and pedicure. I love those days! I usually try to do that about 4 times a year and it always puts me back in my happy place :)
5. My nickname has always been T , I have no idea who started it, but I have had it since grade school. I think it started when I started playing basketball in 4th grade. In high school I had a math teacher who called me T squared, I am glad that did not stick!
Happy Weekend Friends and Thank You for your continued Prayers for Jeff!

Thursday Ramblings
Well we are still in the hospital today, Not a fun place to be at all! Thank You for keeping Jeff in your thoughts and Prayers, it means a lot to us! I think he maybe feeling a little better today. Just waiting for the Doctor to come visit and tell us what is next, Patience is not always easy!
I have had so much time to sit and think while sitting bedside....
First, if you have your health you have everything!
I miss my Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never been away from them this long and it is very Hard !
Good Friends are truly a Blessing!
I guess because I have been stuck here in the hospital it has got me thinking about my career choice. When I first graduated from college I thought I wanted to be a physical therapist. I worked in a clinic as a physical therapist assistant and decided after a year I did not enjoy all of the lifting and pulling, my back was not happy!
I was accepted into the Radiation Therapy program but after orientation I decided that was not for me either. It takes someone special to be able to deal with that type of care.
I knew I wanted something in Health Care so I decided on Medical Imaging... taking X-rays and doing CT Scans. It was the right choice for me! This year there has been a lot of patients with coughs and chest congestion, this means lots of Phlegm and mucous, for some reason lately I have developed an aversion to these and am thankful that I did not choose Respiratory Therapy as a career!!!
*** If you could be 18 again and go back to school what would your career choice be? For me it would be police work (the FBI stuff) or Chef (I love to cook)

Wordless Wednesday - With a few words...
For the past few weeks I have been experiencing something that is new to me. Something that I do NOT like! Jeff has been pretty sick and is having to stay in the hospital. He is doing better and hopefully we will be going home very soon! I hate seeing the Love of my Life in a hospital bed!!!
On a funny note, a nurse came in the room last night when Jeff was trying to use a urinal ... she said, "That is impressive! (meaning he was urinating a lot, I think??), he told her, "That is what she said" At least he still has a sense of humor :)

Five Question Friday
Rules for Five Question Friday: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky to appear Friday morning! And, most importantly, HAVE FUN!!
1. Have you worn the same outfit more than one day in a row?
Yes, on numerous occasions. While traveling through Europe I packed very very light- If I could not put it in my backpack It didn't go. I had really cheap Walmart clothes that I would wear and then toss just to make extra room. Also, when I am sick I might stay in PJ's for 2 days.
2. If you had to choose any LARGE city to live in, which would it be?
My favorite city is Telluride, Colarado, but it is not big. I guess it would be Denver. Colorado. Love the downtown night life, all the restaurants, going to a Rockies game and seeing the Mountains in the background. Always something to do and you are very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. You are also pretty close to Aspen and Vail, there is opportunity for adventure everywhere and I think it would be a much healthier place to live.
3. Fly or drive with the kids on vacation?
We have never tried flying with the kids yet. I would love too! I love to fly for vacation, but I just have not had the courage to try it yet with the kids. All the bags and security - I just think it would be too stressful now.
4. What is your idea of "spring cleaning"?
Well I am a Cleaning Freak! Spring Cleaning for me is head to toe deep cleaning of the house. It includes the windows - inside and out, I wipe all of the walls and baseboards down, clean the closets, garage, touch up paint, clean all cabinets and drawers out, and even clean the barn. Yes I am a FREAK!
5. What is the best book you have ever read?
That is a tough one! I love books. I really enjoy all of James Patterson's books, and now I am really enjoying reading fellow blogger Ree Drummond's (The Pioneer Woman) new book, Black Heels to Tractor Wheels.

Happy Valentine's Day
Valentines Day
According to Wikipedia - Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day, is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions.
I feel very fortunate that Jeff and I share the same Love of Fine Dining. He told me once that a good meal is more than just the food, it is, or should be an experience. Before the kiddos came along we would have one of those dining "experiences" once a week. Now that we are financially responsible parents we have such "experiences" maybe once every 3 months. This year we plan on going as a family to one of Jeff's least favorite places - The Olive Garden. He hates The Olive Garden! He thinks it is some kind of trap that sucks the life out of a REAL Man... He feels the same way about Kohls, which I also love. :/
When it comes to giving gifts for the Holiday of Love I am not too creative. Every year I will always get him the heart shaped Reeces Cups and some cute boxers. Not too good on my part considering his present to me one year was to surprise me with a weekend getaway to the Nashville Opryland Hotel with Tickets to see Alan Jackson, my favorite singer, at the Grand Ole Opry. I hate to admit it but he is way more romantic than I am. He always tells me no
worries... it is the little things that mean the most. Tomorrow I will celebrate Valentine's Day with my best friend. He is my Rock and will hold my heart forever. I Love You Jeff! XOXO..

5 Question Friday
Thanks to Mama M. at My Little Life -Now I have something fun to do with my blog again this Friday. You should check out her Blog - It Rocks!
So here we go ~
1. Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home MakeOver orTLC's What not to Wear?
This is a really easy one for me, Extreme Home MakeOver!!!! As far as fashion goes I am hopeless. Maybe if I were a size 2 I would be more inspired to dress real trendy but I honestly don't think I would. I love jeans and t-shirts and Nike tennis shoes. However, I have been known to drop an insane amount of $ on that perfect pair of shoes or purse.
Our house, aka The Money Pit .... Ty Pennington!!!! Get your cute little butt over here and start in on our room addition, new windows, bricked exterior, new out building, remodeled kitchen, new furnace and air conditioner, and upstairs deck ... please hurry!
2. Do you have any tattoos? Yes, just one. But I think I want another one.
3. Do you tell your kids about things you did growing up?
I plan on being 100% honest with the girls. I want them to learn from all of my mistakes. I have already shared a few stories with the oldest but when the time is right I will sit them down and let them know that Momma wasn't always a Saint and why they should do as I say and not do what I did.
4. If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you stop or speed up?
If the girls are with me I drive like an old lady and will start stopping when I see the Yellow. If I am alone, look out Mario Andretti ! Over the past 2 years I have been nailed with a few speeding tickets so I have been using the cruise control frequently.
5. What's your preference: chocolate or chips?
Most definitely Chocolate. I am not sure if anyone loves chocolate as much as I do. Love it -Love it -Love it! I am not that big on chips, however, a friend of mine for Christmas sent me chocolate covered potato chips,
They were awesome!
Hmmm It is almost Valentines Day and all of this talk about Chocolate is making me think today would be a good day to bake - I LOVE CHOCOLATE :)

You might wake up with a New Hair style ~

Yes, I was still tired when Abby took the picture.

Oprah has her list so why can't I have mine -
From time to time I will list some products that I feel are worth the $$$
There is nothing worse than paying $$$ for something and it ends up being used just once because it did not do what is was suppose to do, or it was just not what you were really wanted. I have tons of lip sticks, mascara, hair products, cleaners, kitchen gadgets, etc., that were a huge waste of $$$ ~
Products that Tammy Loves ~
( I am not making one cent for endorsing these products)
Tide with Bleach- I do laundry every other day. I do a lot of laundry! It gets expensive so I thought I would try other brands. You can tell a BIG difference when you try to use the cheap stuff! Your clothes come out looking dingy and they even have a rough feeling. I did like Gain for the smell but In my opinion Tide is hands down the winner.
Oxi-clean - My mom use to swear by this stuff. I never tried it until she gave me a bucket and now I am sold. You can put 1 or 2 scoops in a bucket with clothes that have stains or with dirty socks and in about 2 or 3 hours everything looks new again. It also works great on carpet stains.
FeBreze - Love to spray this stuff on my sheets and curtains, and even my car - makes the room smell nice and fresh.
Yankee Candle - Ginger Bread or Mulled Cider - smells so good!
Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion - Leaves your hands feeling "baby soft" Try it, you will love it!
Green Mountain Breakfast Blend Coffee - The best I have found. It is the best way for me to start my day.
Our Toaster Oven - I had never had one until last year but now I couldn't do without it. I use it more than my oven or microwave. Left-overs taste so much better and you can do everything in it that your large oven does. Bonus - you don't heat your kitchen up in the summer.
WD40 - check this out - http://www.wisebread.com/almost-2000-uses-for-a-can-of-wd-40-1
Drier Sheets - I love these not just because they make your clothes smell good but try using them to clean your bathtub or shower. I know it sounds crazy but it really works great! Use them first with your clothes in the dryer and then wipe your shower doors and walls down, best thing I have found to fight the soap scum.
Wind Shield Washer Fluid - Not for the car but for washing windows and mirrors. It is cheap and works so much better than Windex!
Vinegar - Put a bowl in your kitchen with some vinegar to get rid of the fish smell after cooking, great for cleaning the coffee pot, add a few Tablespoons to your boiling eggs to prevent them from cracking and making them easier to peel.
I guess you can tell that I was on a cleaning mood - I do love a clean house! Now I bet Oprah has never used any of these products :)
