Sunday Stealing 3-20-11

The 5,000 Question Meme, Part 1

A meme (play /ˈmm/[1]) is a unit of social information.[2] It is a relatively newly coined term and identifies ideas or beliefs that are transmitted from one person or group of people to another. The concept comes from an analogy: as genes transmit biological information, memes can be said to transmit idea and belief information.

1. Who are you? "I was born a poor black child"

2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?

First, and most importantly I am a Momma, I support the NRA, I am an Indianapolis Colts Fan!

3. When you aren't memes like this one what are you doing?

Taking care of the kids, cleaning the house, washing dishes, having fun with the hubby, cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning!!!

4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time).

I always liked Art and Gym class, (I guess those don't count), American History and Science were my faves. I always hated Math!

5. What is your biggest goal for this year?

Teaching my oldest to swim and tie her own shoes... also, I have a list of a few home improvements I would like to get done

6. Where do you want to be in 5 years? House paid off.

7. What stage of life are you in right now? A very relaxed stage.

8. Are you more child-like or childish? It depends, most of the time I am child-like

9. What is the last thing you said out loud? Momma will miss you guys today!

10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now?

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes? No

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?

It seems to be getting a lot better, in many different ways :)

13. Does time really heal all wounds?

Not always. But time can put certain things on the back-burner.

14. How do you handle a rainy day?

I love rainy days! EXCEPT - when I have outdoor plans like camping, cook outs, or amusement parks.

15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?

Losing luggage! If the lights are too tangled I just go out and buy new lights.

16. How is (or was) your relationship with your parents?

I have always had a great relationship with Mom and Dad, except for about 2 years in my 20's when I was just a real pain in the butt.

17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?

Yes and No. When I am with the kids I am always alert and watchful. When I am by myself or when my hubby is with me I might end up in my own little world and be clueless.

18. What is the truest thing that you know? My Children

23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?

Several years ago I had sinus surgery. After the surgery they pack your nose with what seems to be an entire roll of gauze. After about 10 days I went to have it removed and that was the worst pain I ever felt! Up until that I would have said my dislocated knee cap, but that was nothing compared to the gauze removal.

24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?

I was 9 weeks pregnant and went to have my first ultrasound. I found out I was having twins but I had a miscarriage. Still weighs heavy on my heart today!

25. Who have you hugged today? Jeff :)
